Jänkä Downtown in Levi is a great location for combining business and pleasure, as it’s easily accessible and offers a variety of services for meetings and conferences. On the other hand, here families, couples and friend groups have a plethora of fun activities to choose from.
Jänkä Downtown Penthouse and Townhouse are located at the foot of the Levi fell, with direct access to the newest ski lift – you can strap on your skis at the door and just slide on through!
The town center is just a two minute walk away, so no car needed. If you do come with one though, you can leave it at the warm garage located on the ground floor of the apartment building (EV outlets included.)
how to get here
The closest airport is Kittilä (KTT) , which is a 15 minute drive from Jänkä Downtown. You can also fly to Rovaniemi (RVN), which South of Kittilä and about 2 hour drive away.
The closest train station is in Kolari, an hour drive Southwest from Kittilä.

You can see the aurora borealis on average 111 times a year, from August to April when the nights are dark.

During the winter months, from mid-November to mid-May, Levi is Finland’s most popular ski resort, with a total of 44 slopes for all levels, serviced by 28 lifts. If you are keen for after-ski, Levi’s famous nightlife has something for everybody. If you feel like winding down after an eventful day, we recommend the full-service spa with beauty treaments in the centre of town.
8 seasons of Levi
Experience all the eight seasons and see a different side of Levi in each. Polar Night in December is followed by a long Midwinter. Early Spring still sees snow, but by Spring in May the greenery takes over. Nightless Nights of the summer season are followed by Harvest in August, Colors of the Fall in September and finally, First Snow in October.
history of The area
Winter tourism has been practiced here since the 1930s, with the first tourists usually arriving to the town by horse-drawn carriages from easily accessible Kittilä. The only way to reach Levi summit was to ski up, since there were no lifts back then. During its history, Levi has become known for “snow certainty.” Innovative snow storing has allowed opening slopes earlier and hosting competitions like the Alpine World Cup.
