The Jänkä Resort & Ranch is located in Ylläs, 45 minute drive from Kittilä airport. Comprised of 13 premium villas, each with floor to ceiling windows and private hot tubs invite to experience ultimate relaxation without the crowds.
Surrounded by pristine wilderness, Jänkä Resort offers a chance to reconnect with nature. Horses, reindeer and sled dogs welcome visitors at The Ranch.

If you seek deep relaxation and thrilling adventures, at Jänkä Downtown you get best of both worlds. Ski lifts and the bustling town are right on your doorstep, if you can bare to leave the comfort of your lodge.
The Penthouse is a rooftop haven, offering ultimate comfort and privacy. The Townhouse combines elegant lodging and meticulous attention to detail with a cosy atmosphere.

We are Lapland locals from the village of Äkäslompolo. In the neighboring Ylläs, on land that has been in the family for decades, is Jänkä Resort.
Jänkä Downtown is about an hour drive Northeast, nested between the foot of Levi fell and Sirkka village.

How to get here
The closest airport is Kittilä (KTT) to both Jänkä Resort (45 min.) and Jänkä Downtown (15 min.) You can also fly to Rovaniemi (RVN), which is South of Kittilä and about 2 hour drive away.
The closest train station is in Kolari, an hour drive Southwest from Kittilä.

Jänkä Resort is built with respect towards the surroundings, without disturbing the traditional reindeer herding. Geothermal energy is used to heat the villas and keep the energy consumption in check.
